The agent prompt
The exact one-shot prompt given to both models — Gemma 4 31B QAT and Qwen 3.6 35B-A3B, running locally via LM Studio + Little Coder — for the vacation-tracker experiment.
Create a SaaS vacation tracking software for companies. It allows users to join organization, make vacation requests, view their usages and available days, and such. Managers can view requests, adjust vacation allotment for users, manage organizational users, and the like. Here are some considerations:
- Use next.js and TypeScript
- Use server-side rendering where data is fetched directly from server on load
- Use shadcn and tailwind for styling
- Theme the application to be tropical, so it feels like a vacation
- Allow for different types of leave requests and a reason to go with each request
- Show a company-wide calendar that shows when people are away
- Prefill the database with a couple of managers, 5 users, and some prefilled leave requests so we can test the application. Commit the authentication details of these users in the repo directly.
- The prefill should also be a script so it can be relative to today. We don't want the prefilled data to get stale and not show up on the current calendar.
- Create the repository in this directory.
- Commit as you go. Do not push to a remote repository.
